Sylvia Schulman was mainly educated in Cape Town where she was a frequent soloist with the Cape Town Municipal and SABC Orchestras. Her musical career continued for 15 years in the UK and for the last 30 years in South Africa.
Sylvia was employed as Office Manager at the National Bahá’í Centre in Johannesburg for 10 years and was involved in music with various musical performances and as resident pianist for the Gauteng Choristers. She has been resident in Swellendam since November 2006
