Oak Alley Plantation Up Suggest

On a recent trip to New Orleans we made a side trip to Lafayette and stopped by this magnificent historical landmark. The steamboat captains named it Oak Alley because you could see the 300 year old trees from the Mississippi River and they used it as a navigational landmark. See http://www.oakalleyplantation.com/about/history/] to learn more.
