I'm a bit confused. On some members profile page, I see those mentioned below with badges
1) Achievement award for reading 500 mails!
2) Achievement award for having visited 250 sites!
Achievement for reading mails - I know it is an award for reading viralnetworks solo ads that is delivered to our inbox.
But I'm confused what does it mean for Achievement for having visited 250 sites?

Hi James
I think it means that you have followed 250 links to other sites from here on VN - that's how I understand it anyway?
Reading the mails is an internal thing to VN - visiting sites means that you have actually clicked on links and visited someone elses site from here.

Must be...I know I have checked out a lot of different site from here. At first I thought it was broadcast messages vs. solo ads in the messages...
But your idea seems to be it..but only the Mighty Wizard can tell us for sure..heh

That is a bit confusing... I don't click much links from VN to other sites, other than solo ads. But I do it, when I find something really very interesting...

James I was wondering the same thing just before I saw this. Maybe its the adds that appear on the right hand side in VN just under the word "search." I started to click on them and I noticed that they are coming more often.

Well...my first thought was right..heh..here is what Colin said:
"1) That 500 one is for opening 500 imail emails and taking a look. The 250 site visits is for clicking the link in the footer and waiting the 30 seconds for the counter to count down (guaranteed visitor) :)"

Now things are crystal clear. Thanks James for confirming it once again. If that is the case, one of my achievement awards for sites visited is missing?

heh..I looked and didn't see it either...if its not showing soon you can always submit a support ticket and have admin check it out...
