How do I get someone here on VN to stop sending me broadcast emails? the same email over and over isn't that consider spamming? tell me soon please as I deleted 75 today.

Greta,

I have got these emails to from the same member over and over again for the past few days seems like 3 or 4 emails of the same per hour for the past 3 days straight and just so you know I submitted a support ticket and was told that it would be forwarded to the tech who will see if there is a glitch in the system so we shall see. If you know anything keep me updated!!!

Thank you William I also sent letters to Admin. I am being flooded with them you are getting 3 or 4 per hour whilst I am getting 50..true! true! I can only hope it will be rectified soon.

Hi Greta & William,

We apologize for this inconvenience, there has been a system glitch that the same broadcast emails were sent several times over to few VN members. Our tech department is investigating further on this.

Hi, actually some mails got stuck in the system and were all released at the same time... which explains why some of you have received so many mails in a short period of time. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our technicians have been working on this, this "shouldn't" happen again...

I am still getting them every 15 minutes like clockwork. I hope they get it fixed soon. When I first saw it I had to go through 4 full pages of broadcast emails.

Same here and got a reply as the same as what Julien stated and send a reply back that I had 26 emails just now and is the second time I have deleted a page of email this morning!!! I too hope its fixed soon and understand things do happen and can move on fine as long as they are fixed so please update use on when this problem shoud be fixed at least an estimated date or time!...THANK YOU!

Not sure if the problem is fixed as I just dleeted some of this same email out of my inbox form 7 hours ago to 11 minutes ago and had 21 messages. Guess we will see. Will reply to my support ticket if it does not seems to subside this weekend. Will be on off and on as I am going away but not fair.

However, August 7th-14th will not have interenet as on vacation so will have to catch up during this time as its the same week every year.

Julien assures me that it should stop real soon guys, as per your updates William.

I noticed that there were several hours yesterday when I didn't receive any further broadcast mails but then a couple of hours ago they started up again for me and I received one every 15 mins again.

Hopefully this means that things are beginning to settle down though. The tech guys seemed to have made something of a dent in the problem so fingers crossed that by tomorrow it will be fixed fully..

They are still coming to me fast and furious delted 75 today and its not midday yet here. I could not get on to the system yesteday and that made it a bit worse..lol..

It does seem to have about stopped...just one of them there thang I rekon...goes with working with computers.The first day it started I mailed Frank and his assistant got back with me within a couple of hours sayin they didn't know for sure what the problem was...but that shows that folks keep an eye on what they are doing, or trying to do.

Thanks VN team for your fast response and action toward this problem. It has died down a lot so I think it is about fixed as I had 2 more emails 3 & 5 hours ago and thats it!
