Too often I think we all get caught up in the frustrations of making money, building our business and keeping on top of life in general.

I thought it might be a good idea to start this thread where we could all stop for a minute and think about the highlight of our day and experience being grateful.

The highlight of my day was collecting my eldest son, who is 22, from the airport and watching him play with his brother, my 3 year old son. It made me appreciate what I have got and provided motivation to keep going with what I am working on.

What was the highlight of your day?

Hi Katrina,

That's a great highlight you had there. Todays highlight for me was being met by my pooches when I arrived home from the day job feeling harrassed and a little out of sorts. They always cheer me up with their enthusiastic welcome, all lolloping tongues and waggy tails! Nice idea for a thread to make us stop and smell the roses along the way a little..

Regards,
Debs

The highlight of my day was getting to spend time with my 2 year old grandson Jordan after a long day.

This is a great thread by the way.

Thanks for starting it.

I have 6 kids and every day is filled with fun and family, but I guess the most joyful is the fact our youngest, Adrian Tyler who was born on Sept. 9th 2008, at 5 weeks ahead of schedule, is healthy and happy.

With all my kids daddy was the enemy until they were at least 6 months old. I couldn't hold them, couldn't feed them, couldn't even change a diaper without them crying and wanting mommy instead. But Adrian lets me do all of the above and the sweetest part is holding him in my arms while he falls asleep.

For the first time in any of the kids lives as infants daddy feels a welcomed part of the whole process. I don't feel out of place anymore. I love my babies.

Glad to see you had a day off Kathy. We all need that to refresh and recharge every now and then. The highlight of my day today was receiving great support, motivation and inspiration from my team. It's comforting to know that when you're feeling a little low there's always someone around to kick you up the butt and get you going again.

Hi Guys,
The reason I do not like taking any real time off is that I have it burned in my brain that the early bird gets the worm.you know I signed in here at viralnetworks 4 months ago but never really came here till about 2 weeks ago to be active so everyone has the jump on me in the top 25 here so I have to work that much harder then those who just can do it daily.I had to make up for 4 months of not being here till recent. Andy you know one thing about me I love to be number 1 or at least number 2. So its the challenge to see If I can become that in a short time.
Not to mention is makes others challenge me to keep their spot as I bump them.
Abit twisted maybe but it shows just want kind of determination others have. Theres nothing that is not obtainable.
Oh well I better get busy.
Have blessed day.
Kathy

LOL Kathy, you drive is what makes you special but look in the rear view mirror I seem to be holding my own my friend.

Today my special blessing came after fighting a couple hours with the newest version of word press and finally getting what is starting to resemble a top notch blog based website to actually look like a traffic pulling product selling gem. Like many here I am a doer and make things happen. I spend countless hours on all the major social networks and push hard to bring new people into the industry.

I have been around long enough to know that advertising sites work in a mysterious way. You send and ad and get and add in return. Everyone has a program and unless your product is advertising or a resource to help build their existing business your odds are not good. Thus I have been an ad guy for years.

I also like to mentor and educate. With this new site I am building I hope to attract the new marketers, first timers, and educate the mind at a whole new level. Thus far it looks even better than I ever dreamed and I will be posting updates.

What a great feeling to have a breakthrough like that Andy. Today I finally completed two projects that I have been procrastinating on for a couple of months now. As always, once done, it was never that bad to do in the first place. Weight now lifted from my shoulders.

What a great idea for a thread Katrina.
My highlight at the weekend was going to see Defiance at the cinema. Superb piece of filming. I do love true stories.
Today's highlight will hopefully be receiving my new computer (yes I'm a computer geek, I build systems as a hobby lol). I ordered the basic shell last Tuesday and have been tapping my feet impatiently ever since! This will be a much needed upgrade to cope with the mounting pile of marketing products/info on my poor hard drive lol. I can't wait.

Speaking of movies.....you've gotta go see Marley and Me.....but remember to take heaps of tissues.

My highlight today was discovering a new business opportunity that totally excites me and has my head spinning with ideas and vision.

Today is Wednesday and the highlight of my day is having lunch with my two adult daughters .. Brenda 27 and Tina 32. We meet every Wednesday, no matter what ... there is truly little that keeps us from getting together.

I am so grateful for this time.

It is why having a home business is so valuable ... if I worked at a "JOB", I could never spend an entire afternoon with my girls ... let alone every week!

Thanks for starting this post,

Janet Legere
