Does anyone know how Google Adsense Revenue is shared? Is there a proportion how google shares their revenue.

Hi James,
From what I understand, 20% of the Adsense revenue accumulated monthly here at Viral Networks is shared among the top credit-earners. (It's not shared directly by Google itself, this site Viral Networks shares 20% of it's monthly Adsense intake with the most active people here.)

I thought it was 20% of all Viral Networks revenue all together not just adsense. Right now I don't think VN has any revenue because I have been with in the top 10 (8 right now) and last month was the first month that my account balanced stayed the same!!!

Hi William,
I've only been here a short time and don't see many people logged in, just a few. There should be more! We all need to promote and get more members to stay here for awhile every day so they can rack up credits and we get the matching 10% of their credits. I don't see why more people don't jump on this opportunity, it should be crowded in here. The worldwide lack of motivation, too many people playing games and not capitalizing on being able to earn at our fingertips, there's already complacency about the invention of the internet in our lifetime, it's fantastic and people take it for granted and don't use everything available to become successful more quickly.

It's the get something for nothing mentality. It is not just here. In any business, even when people are given all the tools to succeed, they get excited. But then when they realize they have to put in some effort, they give up. They will spend years looking for a system that is free and don't have any time to invest in rather than use that same time to work on the system that would set them free.

In the end, they don't realize that exact same time they waste looking, if it were spent working on their business, would set them free already. I don't view myself as a guru at all.... but I have been free for a year just because I decided to learn and apply right away...

Well ok, it took me 5 years to realize that part, but still....lol

Kathleen,

I know your new but when I first joined 2 years or more we were in pre-launch and I remember when we launched there were so many active people. Here in the forum, blogs, videos, pictures, and clubs. Then something happened....

Before you joined Colin's VN paypal account was frozen for some reason so he could not pay anyone for a while and people started getting mad, less active, and leaving so he paid everyone from his personal PayPal account and could not receive money. I still don't think he has been able to resolve the issue but things happen and its unfortunate. We were expected to relaunch on Feb but never heard anything to date so not sure if that is still on!!!

Other places are emtpy also, or less active than a couple years ago. What I don't understand is why so many adults play ridiculous games on Facebook, they could redirect that time into earning money, like Stephane said up there.

Well, I do play...lol
It can't all be work, work, work
But many waste days playing these games, start groups about them, etc.
They are the first ones to say online marketing doesn't work.
I have blocked most applications from Facebook. As soon as I get a request from a new games, I block it. Makes my life so much simpler and cleans up my wall as well... mostly anyway.

But you are right, if even 10% of those people would concentrate only 10% of that wasted time in here, the revenue sharing from the site would be so much higher. It is all about the mindset of the people. Which is why more than 97% don't succeed.

How very true about people not succeeding.

Going back to the original question about adsense revenue, I wonder if the site is not getting any revenue from adsense because we have become blind to the adverts?

Yes me too. I never came in here to make money on the Google ads. They have been much lower these days, but in the grand picture, it is not much anyway.

The only companies who only making a good turn over profit from Google ads and similar programs are big online companies with millions of visitors a day (maybe I am over exaggerating, 100 thousand UNIQUE visitors per day may work too). Its all about are they clicking them or not and most do not.

Just to come back to this question the adsense revenue on this site is shared by paying members having the option to add their adsesne code to their profile under edit profile.

Once they have done that, any pages that are attributable to them (their profile, a thread in the forum they started, a video they have uploaded, a suggest they made etc..) will automatically show the adsense ads 50% of the time with their code and 50% of the time with VN code.

Hope that helps,
Debs

I forgot that VN shares the adsense revenue brought in from the site with members. I believe it is only upgraded members it is shared with right?

Yes. You have to be at least a contributing member. Doesn't have to be gold or elite.
