Be careful when you follow people on twitter. Don't follow more than 50 a day or twitter will ban your account. This video doesn't make that clear.

You can follow up to 1000 people in 24 hours until you reach 2000. Then you must get more than 2000 followers and then you can only follow 10% more people than the followers you have. If you rech the limit twitter blocks you from following more people for 24 hours, but they will not disable your account like facebook. You can get 1000 followers in 2-4 days and 10000 in about 5 weeks.

Daniel that is great to know. Are you sure about this? I was following the Twitter guide Called the Twitter Report by Walter Prorock and Chris Vendilli. They could be wrong or the information could be out of date. I hope they are wrong as I like your figures better. Watch out Twitter here I come!

Yes, I'm sure, because the information is from the twitter site. Just don't forget to tweet, because twitter can suspend your account if you only follow people without tweeting anything.

Yeah twitter will tell you pretty plainly before they ever get to the banning stage. Follow all you want til twitter tells you to stop is somewhat safe, but Daniel's guide is spot on as mentioned straight from the bird's mouth! (or beak I guess)

Followers are interested in what you tweet Karen, or at least we hope that's why they follow us lol :)
If you interact with them and tweet stuff that will interest them, (related to but not just your affiliate links) and get yourself noticed, you can make money when your followers there begin to buy from you, your affiliate links, or join your business programmes.
It doesn't happen overnight and it's one of the reasons that there's such a debate about how many followers you should aim to gain and how many people you should follow.
If you follow too many people with different interests, it's difficult to keep all their interests in mind and interact with them.
If you unfollow people who are following you, often these days they will be using automated software that will in turn unfollow you as well...

Well, I hope it does though for me I cannot keep up with the amount of twitter followers I am getting without using any automated follower system!
