February Roundup - 2nd Full Month at ViralNetworks

Month Two has come to a close, and we are adding new features every month, and have plenty more planned. We are all happy with the direction the site has started to head in. The future is bright at ViralNetworks.

This post is important for a few reasons, firstly we will report the stats to you, and also included is a special offer for you as part of a new feature we have launched. Also, in the comments section we really want to hear from you. What do you like about ViralNetworks, but possibly even more important, how can we improve ViralNetworks? What new features, or changes can we make to ensure ViralNetworks is your first stop for business networking?

On to the stats. These combine the first 2 months and are running stats as of March 1st 2009, the first number with a strike through it was at the start of this month:

12,834 13,610 - Currently active members (over 16,700 including the inactive too)
662 1,224 - The total number of videos currently hosted for members.
$4,784 $9,283 - The amount earned by members on upgrades and commissions.
$1,100 - The amount paid out to members as prizes for the contest!
$1,115 $1,915 - Amount paid to members who qualified for Rev share. If you were in any of the top 4 tables, you will see a share of this amount in your account under earnings. Note - The higher you place, the larger your share.

New Stats We Programmed in this month:

Total views on all files(vids+images): 38,589
Total number of videos: 1,224
Total number of images: 7,355
Total views on videos: 23,566
Total views on images: 15,023
Total size of videos: 21,962.13 mb. (22gig)
Total size of images: 1,674.14 mb. (1.6gig)

The New features we added this month included a LOT of site performance increases (Notice the pages loading faster?), Many behind the scene’s changes that are not instantly noticable, Plus…

* opened up the site
* added adsense (should increase Rev Share payouts next month)
* added adsense rev. share for upgraded members
* the affiliate urls for every page
* guaranteed visitors
* imail has the   next/prev   buttons
* list of currently online users

One of those features, Guaranteed Visitors, is the one I want to make an offer for you in two days! You see, it is really a Win-Win feature. You can earn credits viewing advertisers sites. It will only show the ad to unique visitors, meaning you won’t see an advertisers page more then once in a 12 hour period. This ensures that you always have fresh sites and content to look at. You will be credited a credit for each site you look at. (limited to 5 per day)

For Advertisers, you are getting unique visitors who are staying and looking at your site for at LEAST 30 seconds. If they leave before then, we don’t count it as a Guaranteed Visitor!
