New Version Coming Soon!

You may have noticed that things went pretty quiet on ViralNetworks these last few weeks… Well, there’s a good reason for that! Our team has been working on the design and development of the new version of ViralNetworks. It will have a new design, a better usability and some great new features that we’re sure most of you will love! Here is a preview of the new design:

We can’t wait to launch this new version but still have to work on it a little more. The wait shouldn’t be too long though. We expect to relaunch ViralNetworks sometime in January. The beginning of 2010 looks very promising! We just couldn’t find a better way to start the new year!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the members who have been supporting us and especially those who gave us their feeback and suggestions for improvement. Thanks a lot everyone! Only a few weeks to wait now… Get ready for a massive relaunch!

On a sidenote, for those who are wondering about November’s payments, they will all be made next week to anyone with more then $10 pending for more than 2 weeks. Thanks for your patience!

Status Update Feeds Come To ViralNetworks…

Good News,

As I said in the last post, we are getting more and more social on ViralNetworks. The New feature we have now added is the ability to post your status. You can do this every 2 hours, and under the new tab ‘Buzz‘ in the ‘community’ part of ViralNetworks, you will be able to see the status of your friends (don’t be shy to un-friend people who abuse or simply annoy you ) and also the status updates of everyone posting in ViralNetworks!

ViralNetworks Getting More Social…

ViralNetworks is built for you with the idea that you use it to build your online business. Well to help with that we have now added more ’social’ features…

You can now add your chat clients (Yahoo, MSN, Skype etc.) and also your Twitter to your profile, from the ‘edit profile’ tab…

This will then show them in your profile, below your signiture link your forum posts, at the bottom of your downline and broadcast mails and on your video uploads!

We have also added a feature which makes it ‘1-click’ easy to share the current page (your profile, the video you are watching or uploaded) on twitter, digg and many others!

February Roundup - 2nd Full Month at ViralNetworks

Month Two has come to a close, and we are adding new features every month, and have plenty more planned. We are all happy with the direction the site has started to head in. The future is bright at ViralNetworks.

This post is important for a few reasons, firstly we will report the stats to you, and also included is a special offer for you as part of a new feature we have launched. Also, in the comments section we really want to hear from you. What do you like about ViralNetworks, but possibly even more important, how can we improve ViralNetworks? What new features, or changes can we make to ensure ViralNetworks is your first stop for business networking?

On to the stats. These combine the first 2 months and are running stats as of March 1st 2009, the first number with a strike through it was at the start of this month:

12,834 13,610 - Currently active members (over 16,700 including the inactive too)
662 1,224 - The total number of videos currently hosted for members.
$4,784 $9,283 - The amount earned by members on upgrades and commissions.
$1,100 - The amount paid out to members as prizes for the contest!
$1,115 $1,915 - Amount paid to members who qualified for Rev share. If you were in any of the top 4 tables, you will see a share of this amount in your account under earnings. Note - The higher you place, the larger your share.

New Stats We Programmed in this month:

Total views on all files(vids+images): 38,589
Total number of videos: 1,224
Total number of images: 7,355
Total views on videos: 23,566
Total views on images: 15,023
Total size of videos: 21,962.13 mb. (22gig)
Total size of images: 1,674.14 mb. (1.6gig)

The New features we added this month included a LOT of site performance increases (Notice the pages loading faster?), Many behind the scene’s changes that are not instantly noticable, Plus…

* opened up the site
* added adsense (should increase Rev Share payouts next month)
* added adsense rev. share for upgraded members
* the affiliate urls for every page
* guaranteed visitors
* imail has the   next/prev   buttons
* list of currently online users

One of those features, Guaranteed Visitors, is the one I want to make an offer for you in two days! You see, it is really a Win-Win feature. You can earn credits viewing advertisers sites. It will only show the ad to unique visitors, meaning you won’t see an advertisers page more then once in a 12 hour period. This ensures that you always have fresh sites and content to look at. You will be credited a credit for each site you look at. (limited to 5 per day)

For Advertisers, you are getting unique visitors who are staying and looking at your site for at LEAST 30 seconds. If they leave before then, we don’t count it as a Guaranteed Visitor!

Direct Affiliate Links To Pages In VN

We have added Direct links to pages in ViralNetworks and have included your affiliate link embeded in it.

This means that you can now link to any public page that you wish to, with your affiliate link built in. When a visitor clicks on that link, they are ‘cookied’ with your affiliate ID, so when they join they will be your personal referrals. If they upgrade, you get paid, and you earn credits from them and can contact them via the downline mailer.

* For Facebook Updates
* For Twitter, friendfeed etc. updates

* Comments on other people’s blogs
* In your bio in articles you write and submit to article directories
* In web 2.0 sites such as Digg (why not submit your VN forum post to Digg, StumbleUpon Yahoo Buzz etc.)
* Link to your profile when uploading videos to YouTube, Google etc.
* Use the links to build pages on sites such as Squidoo, Hubpages etc.

Basically anywhere that the information from the link will add value. You get your affiliate links out there all over the web, and you also add value via the content provided.

Adsense Comes To VN & You Can Get 50% of It!

The idea of ViralNetworks is to create a site that is super helpful for members, in fact we want you to find reason to login every day! This is done by providing a platform for you to use to grow connections, your list, reputation and grow your business and increase your income.

Well we have now added Google Adsense around the site, and this is great news, as it means that is some more revenue coming in that we can share each month with you, the member. As you know we have a Revenue Sharing Pool - so the more money the site brings in, the more we share with members.

Here is where the new addition gets really good for paid members though. We have set it up so that it is a revenue sharing model, and as a paid member (from contributing upwards) you can put in your adsense ID if you have an adsense account, and get your ads shown. January Roundup - 1st Full Month At ViralNetworks…

Wow, so the first full month since ViralNetworks launched has come and gone and we have the stats to report. As at Jan 31st we have:

The vital thing to note here is it is only our first month, we hope that as we continue to grow and add more revenue streams we will keep paying more and more each and every month (increased payouts) to members both in commissions and also in revenue share.

We are relativly happy with the start we have made, as we know that with your help promoting you will earn nice slices of income and the site income will hopefully keep increasing, meaning more income in the revenue sharing too.

The first month servers and file hosting/ bandwidth costs for all the videos and images we host and stream has not got out of control and we are happy moving forward that we can cover those expenses and still provide increasing revenue share!

Moving forward we also plan on making more importance on your ‘reputation level’ this can be found in your profile. Your rep level keeps increasing as you earn credits and we have some plans for a couple of months from now to really make it a big part of gaining more out of ViralNetworks.

If You are not yet a gold member, we ask you to please consider upgrading, as we have had plenty of good feedback about the upgraded membership. You will find it when you login under the ‘upgrade’ tab.

Second Contest Has Ended…

What are VN-Notification emails?

You will be getting broadcast emails by now if you are a member of VN. These are designed to keep you in the loop on what is happening related to you on VN and also to give you the link to login, as this is vital to getting the MOST out of the site.

You want to be login every day, networking with people, adding content, earning credits and building a reputation. One JV or idea created by using VN could be worth a million dollars to you, stranger things have happened (this exact thing has happened to me)!
